Empowering Automotive Technicians. Growing Sustainable Workshops.
Empowering Technicians Since 2003
Since 2003, the South African Technicians Association (SATA) has supported small and medium-sized automotive workshops across the country. As a registered non-profit organisation, we help technicians build skills, access funding and contracts, and become recognised, compliant businesses.
Who We Are
SATA is a member-based, non-governmental organisation dedicated to uplifting automotive technicians — from independent mechanics and panel beaters to fitment centres and fleet workshops. We create pathways from informal operations to structured, sustainable enterprises.
